This is the same as I have posted on yelp. I think Andrew and his team have done a great job. I had him fix up the house to get it ready for rental and what he couldn’t do, which included some foundation work and landscaping, he put me in touch with some quality guys that did a great job. All this was done via email and phone, which I admit had me stressed at times as I live up in the bay area and couldn’t always be there, but it all worked out and I have some good tenants. There have been a few things with the new tenant, but nothing that Andrew and his team were not forthright about. What really stuck me was that he was the only one who agreed to meet me on my time as again I am up in the bay area and couldn’t make the normal 8-5 Monday thru Friday that others seemed to work off of. I plan on keeping him as my property manager as long as I keep the house rented.

When you live 2700 miles away from your property you need someone who is reliable and responsive. Sunset Property Management has managed my property for over 10 years and has maintained virtually 100% occupancy with very short vacancies between tenants to perform needed maintenance. Their ability to perform inhouse maintenance inspections is vital. Recently, the occupants of the unit below mine reported water leaking into their unit. I sent an email notification to Sunset and within one hour they had a technician on site to make sure that the source of the water was not coming from my unit. I have complete peace of mind knowing that my property is being managed in a most professional manner.

Sunset Property Management has been a pleasure to rent from. I have been a tenant for many years precious to them assuming management of the complex we live in and once they were involved everything became easier: communications are done by email and texts, repairs requested through their portal as well as making rent payments. Repairs were completed right away and we’ll done – no longer just “tacked” together to get by. Andrew Grinnell is very capable and can relate to his tenants. I will speak with them again first before I move to see what they have available rather than take my chances with another property manager who thinks they know what they are doing but clearly do not.

We have been working with Sunset for about 4 years now, and are very happy with the results. We have 3 multi-family properties in PB and OB, all of which were under-rented and in need of repair when we came to Sunset. Over the years we have remodeled all but one and raised rents more than 30% across the board! Sunset is a one -stop shop in that they handle all contracting needs as well as property Mgmt. They did a beautiful job on a full remodel of the unit we live in while we were on vacation, which is an amazing feat!We originally hired Sunset because we hoped to retire and travel the world without worrying about the properties. We knew we would need the income from these properties to fund our travel dream, but also wanted someone we could trust to handle our nest egg. Sunset has totally performed. We feel confident leaving our properties in their hands and know things will run smoothly in our absence. Andrew, John and Nate are all readily available to speak with or meet with. My wife and I have been renting through Sunset Property Management (SPM) since April 2019.Andrew Grinnell and his team care deeply about their clients experience and the service we have received (all managed through an easy to use web portal) has been excellent.I don’t think we’re particularly demanding tenants but, when we moved in, there was a lot of ‘stuff’ that needed to get done after the previous tenants; the SPM team were there to help and Andrew was always available too if need be (whilst also managing the communications / relationship with the property owner).I would highly recommend Andrew and the SPM team and hope that we can stay in their rental ecosystem after our lease is up in our current property.

Andrew and his crew at Sunset Property Management were a top quality management company. I used them to manage a property while I was working out of the country. Their service team and responsiveness to any trouble calls was quick and transparent throughout the process of tenant care and any necessary repair work. Their online CRM made the process of tracking the property easy while I was not physically colocated in the same city. I would work with them again.

Andrew is dialed in and knowledgeable about the PB area market. He rented our home out VERY quickly and is extremely responsive. Hard working people are sometimes hard to come by. You won’t the disappointed in / with him! Very honest, straight forward, trustworthy and responsive. Thank you!

Sunset Property Management gets an A+ for professionalism and customer service. We just moved in to a property managed by them and have had a great experience.
