Property Management Kensington

Kensington is a charming little residential neighborhood which is situated northeast of downtown San Diego, and which has a population of about 7,300 people, while covering an expanse of approximately one square mile. For anyone who appreciates the great outdoors, you’ll find everything you could hope for at Ward Canyon Neighborhood Park, where there’s plenty of open space for tossing Frisbees, playing soccer, and throwing the football around. San Diego residential property management considers Kensington a great neighborhood to live and work in.

There’s also a well-maintained basketball court, and a playground which your children will be glad to spend hours at in a wholesome and safe environment. When you’re ready to take your pooch out for a stroll, you can visit the Ward Canyon Dog Park, where your dog will undoubtedly make a number of new friends each time out, while also getting in some worthwhile daily exercise.

When you want to take a stroll by yourself or with a friend, you can take a short drive up to Lake Murray, where you will be able take a beautiful and peaceful stroll around the perimeter of the lake. Another great thing about living in the Kensington area is that it’s extremely close to some of the most popular attractions in the San Diego area, for instance Downtown San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World, and Mission Bay.

If you care to visit Mission Bay for a while, you’ll be able to enjoy all kinds of water activities like fishing, boating, jet skiing, and swimming. After you’ve worked up an appetite from all this activity, you can enjoy some terrific dining at some of the area’s finest restaurants like the Kensington Café, the Haven Pizzeria, or Ponce’s Mexican restaurant.

Town Amenities

Kensington has been referred to as a small town in a big city, because really the entire neighborhood consists of a giant cul-de-sac which excludes the majority of area traffic, so that the residents can enjoy themselves in safety and relative quiet. In order to enter the town’s business district, you’ll have to drive down the eastern end of Adams Avenue, and that will put you in close proximity to the center of the town.

This is really only a five-block section, but in those five blocks, you’ll find more than a dozen restaurants, a bank, several salons, a library, a small gym, an ice cream parlor, an organic grocer, a single-screen cinema, a liquor store, and a nightclub which is well known for its live music, stand-up comedy, and inexpensive but tasty cocktails. That’s an awful lot of entertainment and shopping opportunities, all crammed into a short, walking-distance area.

On the eastern edge of the community, you’ll find the Talmadge Canyon Park, where you can enjoy a number of family activities such as picnicking, hiking, dog-walking, and just relaxing in general, while enjoying the wonders of nature. Also along the eastern edge of the community is the Fairmont Avenue Expressway, which can take you to all points north or south in the community, as well as to those neighborhoods which lie above and below Kensington.
